Oh boy. Zook turned me onto this recording. It seems that at a recent Van Halen performance in North Carolina they had mistakenly played the keyboards back at a different sampling rate than recorded, which put the keyboards track higher in pitch.

Over the week-end in Fort Worth, I literally saw Millions and Millions of Dollars!…… I really never thought about where our paper money was printed….. I always thought it was printed at the mints along with our coins…… Nope, there are only two places where they print our currency – Washington D.C. and Fort Worth, TX….. It’s printed by the “Bureau of Engraving and Printing“….. Unfortunately, they make sure you don’t have any tools on you or any way to get at the new bills, but, you could see the drool on the windows where the presses were….. It was cool seeing all the steps and new security measures being incorporated into our currency for protection against counterfeiting…..

I came away with three (3) small vials of shredded money and a sheet of sixteen (16) uncut Two-Dollar bills from the gift shop….. I had to pay $3 apiece for the vials and $55 for the $32 dollars worth of uncut $2 bills….. You would think it would be cheaper because they didn’t have to cut them….. I think I got took, but, that’s our government….. Anyway, if you ever have the chance to check either of the places out – do it – it is an educational experience and MR approved…..

Do we have any composers out there in MR country?…… We may have tried this once before…. I can’t remember….. We’ve been at this blog thing for a long time……

I was thinking (I know – Bad Idea)….. We could poll the community to decide what genre of song first – Rock, Country Rock, Country, Top-40, etc., etc…. SORRY – NO RAP AND/OR HIP-HOP….. Then I can start with a lyric line and then someone can jump in with another line – so on and so on…. Then we edit what we end up with and any and all musicians in the community can collaborate on the music…..

Yep, there were 22 men on the field, all with the same goal in mind…… It was OU/Colorado vs OU….. Both OU‘s offensive and defensive lines took a short trip to the Bahamas, or maybe it was a 4 quarter long “Starbucks” (or “Seattle’s Best”) break…… Oh, sorry, they were playing in Boulder not Seattle….. It was a 4 quarter “Coors” break then….. OU should have been penalized for “Non-Sportsmanlike Conduct” – They forgot how to play…… Don’t get me wrong, I’m an OU fan, but, they do this at least once, if not more, every year….. Go-o-o, So-o-oners – straight to the locker room….. Next Week will be the battle of the “Up-Set Losers” – Texas/OU….. I wonder which one will be upset enough to win?……

The hot topic on the talk radio show I listen to on the way to work this morning was about tattoos on women…… The woman host of the group stated that men like women with tattoos….. The men hosts, more or less, said that tattoos on women gave them the impression that the woman was of “loose morals”, and, would probably be “easy”…… So-o-o-o, do women get tattoos to “get” a man, impress other women, peer pressure, or what?…… I’ve noticed more and more women with tattoos, and, I, personally, don’t find them attractive, although, I respect their right to get ’em if they want ’em…… I guess I’m not a tattoo person, whether it be male or female….. Of course, I don’t pay attention to males with tattoos, but, I can’t help ogling at a half exposed tattoo that disappears into the lower back of a tight pair of jeans on a good looking woman….. What can I say?….. Maybe that I wouldn’t mind seeing the complete tattoo and exactly where it ends?….. Oh, did I say I don’t care for tattoos on women?…..
