OU Beats OU……
Yep, there were 22 men on the field, all with the same goal in mind…… It was OU/Colorado vs OU….. Both OU‘s offensive and defensive lines took a short trip to the Bahamas, or maybe it was a 4 quarter long “Starbucks” (or “Seattle’s Best”) break…… Oh, sorry, they were playing in Boulder not Seattle….. It was a 4 quarter “Coors” break then….. OU should have been penalized for “Non-Sportsmanlike Conduct” – They forgot how to play…… Don’t get me wrong, I’m an OU fan, but, they do this at least once, if not more, every year….. Go-o-o, So-o-oners – straight to the locker room….. Next Week will be the battle of the “Up-Set Losers” – Texas/OU….. I wonder which one will be upset enough to win?……

Yeah, that really hurt to watch. The only balm was that Texas got thumped.

OU should be loaded for Bear come Saturday, or, should I say “Horns”?…… Should be a good game…… It just goes to show that any team can be beat on any given day…… I’ll be watching the game and rooting for OU…… I think they got all the “goop” out of their systems, and Colorado used up all of the so-called “Texas Luck” against OU….. So-o-o, watch out Big T – OU’s comin’ to Big D with a whole new bag of tricks……

The “Final” score for the OU/Tex-Ass game will be 63-7…… Notice I didn’t specify the winner….. Take your pick….. They’re both coming off “Up-Set” games, although, to me, Tex-Ass has the “Home-Field” advantage, even though they consider the Cotton Bowl as a “Neutral Field”…… I’m sorry, but there is no way in Hell that Dallas is Neutral territory!……

MR, I’ve never been to the OU/UT game, but in theory the crowd is half-and-half.

The crowd in the stands MAY be half-’n'-half, but the city of Dallas isn’t….. You ever try to find parking when you are going to anything at the Cotton Bowl?….. With Oklahoma plates?….. Also, I find it very profiteering that the Texas State Fair just happens to be going on at the same time…… I think the motto is, “We want all of your Oklahoma Dollars and we’re going to treat you like dirt, and, we’re laughing all the way to the bank”……..
BTW, I won the game for OU…… This is a true story, and RtG will confirm it….. In the 1st quarter, I told everyone that any OU that I watch from start to finish they lose….. It happened with the Colorado game the week before….. It had been so long since I watched an OU game, I had forgotten this little detail….. I told them I needed to miss part of the game, switch to another channel for a few minutes, run to the store, etc…… So-o-o, in the 2nd quarter when Tex-Ass was on the 10 yard line about to score, I got up and told everyone I was going to make a run to 7-11….. I was gone 10 minutes or so….. During that time, Tex-Ass fumbled the ball, didn’t score, OU came back, made a touchdown and turned the game around and won…. True story…. When I got back from 7-11, everybody was telling me to go away again!….. They did let me stay and the final score is history….. Thanks to MR…… Stoops owes me one…..

OK, HS, I promise not to watch a complete OU game the rest of the season…… We’ll see if it makes a difference…… If they win all the rest of their games, all you OU Fans owe me BIG!…….
