David Lindley at The Blue Door……

I had the great Pleasure to see David Lindley at the coolest local bar in OKC, maybe in the U.S., and that’s not stretching it!….. The Blue Door is a small club located near Oklahoma City University….. Nothing fancy, it’s really a musician’s club – a place where musicians go to here other great musicians, but sometimes not well known among the general listening audience…..

The show was great and I don’t need to say more….. Click on Dave’s name above for more info on him, if you are unfamiliar with him, and, click on the Blue Door above for their website….. It’ll be your loss if you don’t, and, if Dave comes around your area, be sure to attend, it will be well worth the price……

  1. sounds like a good time, wish I could have been there. Did he do alot of solo stuff or mix in a good helping of early Jackson Browne?

  2. He did mostly his own stuff….. He played many different stringed instruments in a lot of different tunings….. His slide playing reminds me of Ry Cooder….. They are good friends and I bought a double CD, which I got him to sign….. It was of him and Ry and their families playing together….. It’s Great….. It did play one Warren Zevon song that he played on originally….. As I said, it was well worth attending and a good time was had by all…..
