It’s 10/10/10!

This one is for JJ.  Today is 10/10/10.  101010 is what number in binary?

42!

Some people are celebrating “42 Day“.

Did you use your towel today?

  1. Didn’t we learn anything from Y2K? It’s 10/10/2010 or 2010/10/10.

    Yours truly,
    CurmudgeonHS.

  2. I must admit my computer didn’t run any faster/slower or blow-up on Y2K, but, numbers are fascinating and play a huge part in everything throughout History….. You have to respect them…..

Just remember, CurmudgeonHS, there are miracles out there in Hyperspace just waiting for the right number to set them off…. Some may have happened somewhere on Earth…..

I’m wondering what November 11, 2011 (111111) will bring?…… Is that a number in binary?….. It is Veteran’s Day (Armistice Day) – The end of World War I, which was supposed to be the war that ended all wars….. How naive we upright apes are…..

Oh, Yeah, I used my towel yesterday – I took a shower and made sure I wiped my armpits and my bum really well, and, I carried a towel with me all day (Not the same one)….. Rather to be safe than sorry…… Didn’t want to be sucked up into an intergalactic bypass….. I’m still here, which may be a miracle in itself……

  3. It’s more likely that some one will do some thing drastic because they believe the hype around numbers and dates. For instance all those guys that got married on 10/10/10 or 42 day. The next one is 11/11/11 or 63 day. That doesn’t sound near as good as Veteran’s day. If you want an anniversary that you won’t forget try July 4Th, or Christmas, or your birthday (not Hers). Don’t want to forget two for one. Happy Columbus day did you explore today?

  4. With the condition of the world today (Physical and Political) I never leave home without my Towel.
