Since I got home at 1300 today the top story on the news today has been the injury of The OU Quarterback Sam Bradford. Ok lets get some perspective.

You get the idea.

But the news in OKC is more worried about Bradford’s shoulder injury. I’m sure it hurts but there is more pressing things that deserve the press time that is being wasted on this.

  1. Yeah, yeah, we know you’re not a sports fan, MR. 😉

  2. Yes I enjoy sports, I love Major League Baseball, Some NFL, a little NBA and college football. But the point I was trying to make is that there are more newsworthy things that should be covered in the News Headline portion of the broadcast. Sports should be covered during the sportscast. I’m sorry the news has become so depressing but that’s the world we live in. So therefore HS, lets agree to differ my friend. Oh BTW That was my post not MR, That’s another thing JEK, where’s the author of the post in this new version?

  3. Sorry, J.J., I thought that was MR’s post, who along with his progeny are among the most sports-apathetic folk around. So I was just picking on him.

No need to differ, though. I’m pretty much in agreement with you.

I’d like to bring back the post authorship, if that’s possible. I see it now [on this page, above], but it’s not on the main blog page.

  4. The new version looks good, though!

  5. HS: Post authorship is back as of last night. The whole upgrade was a pain since we were on such an ancient version. The main page might have been cached for you. Let me know if you see other missing bits. (That’d be hard! 😉 )

  6. For some, sports is a welcome diversion (or obsession) that can take your mind off all the misery in today’s world for a few hours.
Sadly, in the south, football is a religion.
