P.L.
As most of you know we lost a charter member of our community this week MR’s Brother P.L. He never made a post but he influenced some of mine, and helped give me the love and knowledge of Music that I use in doing my quizzes. His service will be on Saturday August the 18th at Barnes and Johnson funeral home in MWC at 10:00am. I will miss him greatly and pray that his family will be comforted in the knowledge that we all loved him very much. As you all know this is “Elvis Week” the 30th anniversary of the passing of “The King” and P.L. was just about as big of Elvis fan as I have ever known, As we celebrate the life of Elvis Presley let us also remember one of his biggest fans also. And I dedicate this upcoming weeks quiz to him.
Ladies and Gentlemen, your attention please, P.L. Has left the building.

We gave him a great send-off…… A down-to-earth friends and family only service worthy of a “King” of his stature….. “See you in the next world, and I won’t be late”…….. …..But, don’t expect me to be early either……

Hear Hear. It was a hoot and I think we did him proud. I hope that I get as good of a send off.

It was the perfect service for P.L. I can’t think of how it could have been better. He will be missed.
HS: Saw your uncles there. Boy it’s been a long time. It was good to see them, especially Roger.
And of course it was good to see other members of the Community there. Hopefully next time it’ll be under better circumstances.

Wow, I’d forgot HS was related to the Sharps…… It had been awhile since I had seen them and it was much appreciated that they were there……
