There’s a lot of people out there that think of this weekend as the first BIG Party weekend of the Summer – Watch out for them!…… Â Other than that – Have a GREAT Memorial Day……

I didn’t mean to leave out the military aspect of Memorial Day, being a Vietnam Veteran myself….. It was just that I grew up in a large family on both sides and we would spend most of Memorial Day weekend with Family Reunions and visiting of family cemeteries…… I have many relatives that served in probably most of our countries wars….. My family history knowledge is not complete, but, I do know that WWII, Korea, and Vietnam were well covered….. Salute to all those who served!…….

I watched the start! – that was about all I could take, Sorry….. Who won and what was he driving, a Chevy or a Honda?….. I can’t believe that those choices even exist in a Indy 500 race, but, from what little I saw, that was the ONLY choices…… Pretty sad…..

I just watch for the wrecks. The only thing in common between a car company and an Indy car is the name “Chevy or Honda”. If you can’t handle the advertisements then don’t look to close at the cars, track walls, fire suits, the infield grass, or any other surface that might be seen on TV. If the blimp is going to be there they put banners on top of the team’s RVs. The only thing I saw that did’t have advertisements on it was Ashly Judd the wife of the winner.
