  1. This is a fun site, Sunn, and, you don’t have to be a blues nut (like me) to enjoy it…… Check it out…….

  2. Vancouver (BC) Blues
    by BluesBikerDave

    It’s a rainy Vancouver morning
Gotta have my skinny latte fix
Better make that with no foam
Or boy am I gonna be pissed

    There’s a bird-turd on my Lexus
    No longer cerulean blue
    It’s depreciating by the minute
I got the luxury car blues.

Oh man, oh man, oh man….

  3. I see HS has taken the blues into the 21st Century (Schizoid Man).

Oh, wait, I read how _not_ to write a blues song!

  5. Still trying to figure what rhymes with mauve.

  6. Nice job HS. Bird-turd seems like it should qualify. This recent ISP switch has me singing the blues somewhat. The article didn’t rule out computers. 🙂

    My bits ain’t streamin’
    And the gateway is down
    My bits ain’t streamin’
    And the gateway is down
    Cain’t get my blues radio
My spirits are on the ground

    The net is ripped ‘part
    Bit by bit it’s ‘spected
    Then when things start
    To come together
    One domain cain’t be resurrected

Great! Now I have the blues cuz that was sooo bad. Maybe I need to de-geek it and substitute in women and whiskey.

    My bitch she screamin’
    And the whiskey is down
    My bitch she screamin’
    And the whiskey is down
    My life is blues radio
My spirits are on the ground

    The place is ripped ‘part
    Bit by bit it’s infected
    Then when things start
    To come together
    One love cain’t be resurrected

    Weird.

  7. I’m sure at this time Robert Johnson is either turning over in his grave or laughing his way out of it.
