Cultured

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/culture
The only definition I could not find here is the operative one:
Cultured: What happens when a Redneck Truck Driver has 1 too many glasses of wine while waiting for his Tilapia.
All of you in Seattle, ask Jek bout this one sometime.

  1. OK Jek, what about too much wine and Tilapia?

  2. I was also in attendance at this cultural event……. Jek and J.J. were very, very busy discussing red and white….. I don’t know which they decided was supposed to be red or white – the wine or the fish……. After listening to this babble for an unbearable length of time, Robo and I couldn’t decide whether we were going to string them up with all the other cultured pearls or seal them in a petri dish for further examination at a later date……

  3. Or…………..as another alternative, brand them both “hoity toity” & disown them both!!!!!!!!!!!! No place for “hoity toity” on this forum, me thinks.

  4. I guess JJ is needing some attention now that he is in Oklahoma-Stationary-Orbit (OSO). My recollection of the evening is that JJ and I were having a polite conversation about different wines in a non-snooty fashion. Of course, MR and Robo were having fun at us for a bit and then JJ made the fatal mistake of saying he’s become cultured (or something like that). Oh man, you’d thought someone threw red meat to a pack of wolves.

  5. He meant cultured, as in spoiled milk, maybe?

  6. I believe that it’s white with Talapia, red wine with red meat. Whisky in a fruit jar anytime. And Southern Comfort is an aperitif.

  7. I like Sunn’s explanation the best.

  8. Jek, I know that J.J. put on a few pounds just sitting behind the wheel of that big rig on those cross-country trips, but, I don’t know if he’s achieved a Stationary Orbit yet, Oklahoma or otherwise…… Of course, we will need to attempt a J.J. launch soon, but, I think we will have to settle for a Cultured Sub-Orbital track at best…..

  9. Maybe we should chain J.J. to the back of a jet breaking to sound barrier. Wounder what would break first J.J. the Jet, the chain, or the laws of physics.

  10. 5 to 1 on the chain depending on the Tensile strength.

  11. My guess is that it would depend on the type of wine the pilot had prior to take-off.
