{"id":519,"date":"2007-08-24T11:25:47","date_gmt":"2007-08-24T16:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mrambler.com\/blog\/?p=519"},"modified":"2007-08-24T12:24:01","modified_gmt":"2007-08-24T17:24:01","slug":"the-band-jake-the-band","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.mrambler.com\/blog\/2007\/08\/24\/the-band-jake-the-band\/","title":{"rendered":"The Band, Jake, The Band&#8230;&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since <strong>HS<\/strong> was asking about, <em>&#8220;Where&#8217;s my Strat&#8221;<\/em>, I thought I would post this shot taken during a band practice at my house, which was before we found a practice studio and I traded the <strong>Twin<\/strong> in for a <strong>Dual Showman<\/strong>&#8230;&#8230;<br \/>\n<img id=\"image518\" alt=MRambler src=\"http:\/\/www.mrambler.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/08\/mr_tp1.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nI paid $260 for the brand-new <em>Made in the USA <\/em><strong>Strat<\/strong> in &#8217;72&#8230;&#8230;  <strong>American made<\/strong> was all they offered back then&#8230;..  The <strong>&#8220;StratoBlaster&#8221;<\/strong> pre-amp provided signal boost at the flip of a switch,  The <strong>&#8220;Hawk II&#8221;<\/strong> equalizer was great&#8230;..  You could emulate lots of different guitars with it&#8230;&#8230;  I used the <strong>&#8220;Pignose&#8221;<\/strong> for adjustable distortion&#8230;&#8230;  The whole rig seemed to work great for the time&#8230;  I still have all of it except the guitar and amp&#8230;..  Oh yeah, I even have a few of the <strong>&#8220;Terraplane&#8221;<\/strong> Iron-ons left&#8230;..
