Anon’s<\/strong> been giving me some flack over wanting to here some more of our new stuff….. \u00c2\u00a0So-o-o<\/em>, here’s the compromise that I came up with…… \u00c2\u00a0I wanted to put up “Rainy Day Women #12&35”<\/strong><\/em> that Weldon<\/strong><\/em> had done such a spectacular<\/em> job of Editing\/Mastering<\/em>, but, the problem was that the AIFF Audio File<\/strong> was 102.6 MB<\/em>, much too large for the Blog<\/strong>, so, here’s what I did, with apologies to Weldon<\/strong><\/em>…… \u00c2\u00a0I used iTunes<\/em> to create an MPEG Audio File<\/strong> of the song (No, I did not replace\/destroy the AIFF File<\/strong><\/em>), which, if you can believe it is only 9.3 \u00c2\u00a0MB<\/em> – 93.3 MB<\/strong> smaller than Weldon’s<\/strong><\/em> excellent version….. \u00c2\u00a0This fits in with Neil Young’s<\/strong> “Pono”<\/strong><\/em> theory on just how much we’re not hearing these days…… \u00c2\u00a0The MPEG<\/strong> version is passible and I’m including it in this Post<\/em>, mainly to quiet down Anon<\/strong><\/em> and let HuskySooner<\/strong><\/em> hear it along with the rest of the MR Community<\/strong><\/em>…… \u00c2\u00a0And, I’m sort of proud of how it turned out myself (Is that being self-important or not?)…..<\/p>\n

This will probably be the first cut on my first solo album (MRambler & Friends<\/strong><\/em>) with the album title of, “We’re All JoJo’s on This Bus”<\/strong><\/em>….. \u00c2\u00a0MR<\/strong><\/em> (me) played the Single-String rhythm guitar, Slide Guitar, Lead Guitar, Harp, and Backing Vocals<\/em>….. \u00c2\u00a0Raj<\/strong><\/em> (our new MR Central member<\/em> and life-long friend) played a second strumming rhythm guitar, Hofner Bass (Best Bass Player EVER!), Keyboard Trombone, and sang the Lead Vocals and Extra Backing Vocals<\/em>….. \u00c2\u00a0We used a Drum Machine<\/strong><\/em> for the Drum parts, so, it was just the two of us multi-tracked<\/em>….. \u00c2\u00a0Again, our thanks to Weldon DeBusk<\/strong><\/em> of Seattle<\/em>, a friend of Jek’s<\/strong><\/em> and Anon’s<\/strong><\/em>, for wanting to even attempt the long, tedious job of mixing\/mastering<\/em> the work of a couple of JoJo’s<\/strong><\/em> like us….. \u00c2\u00a0Just remember, when this comes out, it might just be on Neil’s “Pono” system<\/strong><\/em> in the quality it should be heard in…… \u00c2\u00a0I’ve got 10 originals ready to start recording and tons of notes and odds and ends of verses that I’ve written over the last 30 years or so to work from, so, the rest of the album will be all originals<\/em> written by me and, “With A LOT of help from My Dear Friends”<\/strong><\/em>, it just might be a reality sometime in the future – No. 1 with a bullet (You never can tell…. eh?)……<\/em><\/p>\n

Yes<\/strong><\/em>, Reviews, Comments, Smart-Ass Remarks<\/em> are hereby requested from the MR Community<\/strong><\/em>….. \u00c2\u00a0Just remember, “You have to be insane to stay sane in the World of today” (MR quote)……<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh, Yeah<\/strong><\/em> – Here’s the, unfortunately, low resolution of Weldon’s<\/strong><\/em> Super “Ozone”<\/strong><\/em> mix of RDW<\/strong><\/em>….. \u00c2\u00a0It really doesn’t sound that bad even at the low MPEG<\/strong><\/em> quality….. \u00c2\u00a0Hope you enjoy it and give me some feedback…. \u00c2\u00a0Please and Thank You!….<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
