Crime Bustin&#8217; Rustin&#8217; Dusten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>This is from My Facebook Because I can&#8217;t bear to type it again.<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nI have just been informed of the passing <em><strong>Dusten McKee<\/strong><\/em>. You have heard the old saying <em>&#8220;He was Like a Son to me&#8221;<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0? \u00c2\u00a0Well, it was very true with <em><strong>Dusten<\/strong><\/em>. He went to school with\u00c2\u00a0<em><strong>Jek,<\/strong><\/em>\u00c2\u00a0and, when they would <em>&#8220;Ditch&#8221;<\/em> school I was <strong>Dusten&#8217;s Father<\/strong> on the phone. I have many happy memories of him in those years. We played music together (He Played Bass). We made these tapes back then pretending to be a radio station.(You remember me talking about the <strong>&#8220;DOGG TAPES&#8221;<\/strong> For their <em>English Lit Book report<\/em> we made a film of <em><strong>Beowulf<\/strong> <\/em>(this was long before the blockbuster) I played <em>Grendel&#8217;s Mother<\/em>. (think <strong>Monty Python<\/strong>) and <em><strong>Dusten<\/strong><\/em> plays <strong>Beowulf.<\/strong> The <em>&#8220;outtakes&#8221;<\/em> are better than the Film. In the scene where he kills me, I am doing this old overacting dying and he screams <em><strong>&#8220;DIE ALL READY!.<\/strong><\/em> In another school film for science class,\u00c2\u00a0<em><strong>Jek<\/strong><\/em> Plays <strong>Johnny Seltzer:<\/strong> <em>Private Neutralizer.<\/em> His Side Kick is <em><strong>Dusten<\/strong><\/em> as <em><strong>&#8220;Crime Bustin&#8217; Rustin&#8217; Dusten&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>. For their <em>Senior Prom<\/em> I chauffeured <em><strong>Jek<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>Dusten<\/strong><\/em> and their dates around all night dressed as <em><strong>Jake Blues -\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00c2\u00a0in our <strong>Bluesmobile<\/strong>. After <em><strong>Dusten<\/strong><\/em>\u00c2\u00a0graduated, he joined the <em><strong>Army<\/strong><\/em> and I kinda lost track of him then. \u00c2\u00a0After he got out, he came up with the idea to start a <em>Paintball field<\/em> on the land that <em><strong>MRambler<\/strong><\/em> owned. They all started <em><strong>Dodge City Paintball<\/strong><\/em>. About 5 or 6 years ago I heard that <em><strong>Dusten<\/strong><\/em> had become a <strong>Cop<\/strong> In <strong>Nicoma Park<\/strong>. I went along with him on a <em>&#8220;ride along&#8221;<\/em> one night. He told me that he was trying to get on in <em><strong>Del City<\/strong><\/em>. He became a <em>Officer<\/em> in <strong>Del City, OK<\/strong> soon after that. The last time that I saw him was at the funeral of <em><strong>Robo&#8217;s<\/strong><\/em> Wife <em><strong>Deb<\/strong><\/em>. <em>He looked good and happy<\/em>. said he was having a great time on the force. I told him to always be careful: I know that cops put it on the line every day, and I didn&#8217;t want to read his <em>Line of duty Obit<\/em>. My heart is sad right now, and I still can&#8217;t wrap my mind around what has happened. I was told that he took his own life on <em><strong>New Years Day<\/strong><\/em>. <em>This is so heartbreaking for me. A sad and tearful farewell to the kid I called my<strong> &#8220;Son&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is from My Facebook Because I can&#8217;t bear to type it again.
