Since we’re all not<\/em> getting any younger<\/em>, and I did receive a fairly good reception to Posting<\/strong> one of songs performed by one of the bands I used to be in, I thought I would, every week or so, Post<\/strong> a different song that hasn’t been heard by almost anyone but myself that was recorded in the early ’70’s…. The band in the spotlight of this archive is the “Wolfbrand Band”<\/strong><\/em>…. Four poor boys with little equipment, but, I think we were one of the best local bands around….. The members were: Tom Wasinger<\/strong><\/em> – Vocals, Guitar, Lead Guitar, Piano, Mandolin, etc.<\/em> Tom could play any instrument and went on to make instruments and winning at least two Music Emmy Awards<\/strong> for playing and producing, Roger Harrison<\/strong><\/em> – Vocals, Bass Guitar, Guitar<\/em>. Roger<\/em> and I still play and record new stuff at our own pace, Larry Cobble<\/strong><\/em> – Vocals, Drums, percussion<\/em>. Unfortunately, Larry<\/strong> is no longer with us, and Me<\/strong><\/em>! – MRambler<\/strong><\/em> – Vocals, Guitar, Slide Guitar, Harp<\/em>. Still having fun playing after all these years…..<\/p>\n

The song, dug from deep in the Archives<\/strong>, was recorded live at a gig on May 30, 1974<\/strong><\/em>….. Here’s “Wolfbrand Band’s”<\/strong><\/em> version of “The Beatles”<\/strong><\/em> – “One After 909<\/a>“… Tom<\/strong><\/em> on Vocals, Guitar, and Lead Guitar<\/em> – Roger<\/strong><\/em> on Vocals and Bass<\/em> – Larry<\/strong><\/em> on Drums<\/em> – and Me<\/strong><\/em> on Guitar and Slide Guitar<\/em>…. We always tried to put our sound to any cover song we did..
