{"id":1745,"date":"2011-10-26T16:06:50","date_gmt":"2011-10-26T21:06:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mrambler.com\/blog\/?p=1745"},"modified":"2011-10-26T16:06:50","modified_gmt":"2011-10-26T21:06:50","slug":"mramblers-archives-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.mrambler.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/26\/mramblers-archives-1\/","title":{"rendered":"MRambler&#8217;s Archives #1&#8230;.."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since we&#8217;re all <em>not<\/em> getting any<em> younger<\/em>, and I did receive a fairly good reception to <strong>Posting<\/strong> one of songs performed by one of the bands I used to be in, I thought I would, every week or so, <strong>Post<\/strong> a different song that hasn&#8217;t been heard by almost anyone but myself that was recorded in the early &#8217;70&#8217;s&#8230;. The band in the spotlight of this archive is the <em><strong>&#8220;Wolfbrand Band&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>&#8230;. Four poor boys with little equipment, but, I think we were one of the best local bands around&#8230;.. The members were:<em><strong> Tom Wasinger<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <em>Vocals, Guitar, Lead Guitar, Piano, Mandolin, etc.<\/em> Tom could play any instrument and went on to make instruments and winning at least two <strong>Music Emmy Awards<\/strong> for playing and producing, <em><strong>Roger Harrison<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <em>Vocals, Bass Guitar, Guitar<\/em>. <em>Roger<\/em> and I still play and record new stuff at our own pace, <em><strong>Larry Cobble<\/strong><\/em> &#8211;<em> Vocals, Drums, percussion<\/em>. Unfortunately, <strong>Larry<\/strong> is no longer with us, and <em><strong>Me<\/strong><\/em>! &#8211; <em><strong>MRambler<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; <em>Vocals, Guitar, Slide Guitar, Harp<\/em>. Still having fun playing after all these years&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>The song, dug from deep in the <strong>Archives<\/strong>, was recorded live at a gig on <em><strong>May 30, 1974<\/strong><\/em>&#8230;.. Here&#8217;s <em><strong>&#8220;Wolfbrand Band&#8217;s&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> version of <em><strong>&#8220;The Beatles&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mrambler.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/08-One-After-909.mp3\">One After 909<\/a>&#8220;&#8230; <em><strong>Tom<\/strong><\/em> on <em>Vocals, Guitar, and Lead Guitar<\/em> &#8211; <em><strong>Roger<\/strong><\/em> on <em>Vocals and Bass<\/em> &#8211; <em><strong>Larry<\/strong><\/em> on <em>Drums<\/em> &#8211; and <em><strong>Me<\/strong><\/em> on <em>Guitar and Slide Guitar<\/em>&#8230;. We always tried to put our sound to any cover song we did..
